Update Firmware on Your Luxsin Device

Keep your Luxsin device up to date to ensure the best performance and latest features.

Before You Start

• The update process takes about 3–5 minutes. Do not power off or restart the device during the update.

• If using a USB drive, keep it connected throughout the process.

• The device will restart automatically when the update is complete.

• If the update process takes longer than 20 minutes with no response, please restart the device using the power switch and try the update again.

Update via USB (Local Update)

1. Download the firmware package (.PKG file) and copy it to the root directory of a USB flash drive (USB 2.0 standard, FAT 32 format).

2. Insert the USB drive into the rear USB-A port.

3. On the device screen, go to:

   About → Upgrade → Local Upgrade → OK

   

4. The device will detect the file and begin the update automatically.

5. Once complete, the device will restart. You can check the firmware version to confirm the update.

Update via Wi-Fi (OTA Online Update)

1. Make sure your device is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network.

2. On the device screen, go to:

   About → Upgrade → Online Upgrade → OK

3. The system will check for updates and begin automatically if available.
   

4. If you’d like to install beta firmware, please make sure “Receive Beta Version” is enabled.

5. Once complete, the device will restart. You can verify the firmware version afterward.
